PRESS RELEASE: MOTHER EARTH BREWING COMPANY COLLABORATES WITH FREMONT BREWING FOR A ‘HAZY’ START TO SUMMER

June 19th, 2019

Nampa, ID – June 19th, 2019. Mother Earth is pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with Pacific Northwest titans, Fremont Brewing, as part of their ‘4Seasons’ premium line of products.

 

‘The Four Seasons of Mother Earth’ (now simply dubbed ‘4Seasons’) boasts some of Mother Earth’s finest and most exclusive brews, typically in the form of collaborations and Barrel-Aging. Next up is their collaboration with Fremont, just in time for ‘Summer’: A Hazy IPA brewed with Galaxy, Mosaic, El Dorado, and African Queen Hops.

 

“We first had the opportunity to bond with the guys at Fremont during a fishing trip on the Salmon river, but quickly realized how similar our brewing ideologies were. That was furthered by us both having been awarded medals at GABF in the “Fresh Hop” category in 2017. We started kicking around ideas for a collab and it quickly became apparent that it fit right into our 4Seasons program. The strength of our established seasonal brands combined with their ‘Hazy’ prowess was a natural fit.”

Unique to Summer is the addition of rare hops, specifically African Queen, and craft-malt sourced by farmer-owned cooperative, LINC Malt out of Spokane, WA which supports farmers by providing a conduit between growers and manufacturers. The result – A rich flavored, complex beer that will stand proud in what is a crowded, yet still-growing category.

 

4Seasons Summer will be distributed throughout the United States via Mother Earth’s network of distribution partners in limited quantities both on draft and in 16oz/4-pack cans beginning the week of 6/24. Local events at Mother Earth’s Vista and Nampa tasting rooms will also feature early access to the beer on Saturday 6/22, and at Fremont’s Urban Beer Garden in Seattle on 6/23. Additional information may be found on the Mother Earth and Fremont websites and social platforms.


IDAHO STATESMAN ARTICLE: CALIFORNIA BREWERY ‘SETS THE BAR HIGHER’

In 2018, Mother Earth brewed 10,125 barrels of beer in Nampa, according to co-founder and CEO Daniel Love. Based on newly compiled numbers from the Brewers Association, Mother Earth topped the two closest Idaho competitors: Payette Brewing, which produced about 8,200, and Sockeye Brewing, which cranked out about 9,900 barrels.

Yes, a California transplant is now Idaho’s largest brewery.

Vista, CA and Nampa, ID – April 22, 2019. Mother Earth Brew Co. turns 9 on May 1st. To celebrate their near decade of success, they’ll once again be releasing their highly anticipated annual Anniversary beer, ‘Big Mother’ Triple India Pale Ale in 16 oz cans and on draft across the country.

Big Mother has been a legacy brand since Mother Earth was founded, initially as a draft only offering, then adding 22oz bottles and finally evolving its way into 16 oz cans starting in 2018 and available now for the second year in a row to its nationwide network of distribution partners.

NAMPA TASTING ROOM EVENT: BEER+FRIENDS FEST

April 19th, 2019

Beer+Friends, the official closing event of Idaho Craft Beer Month, will bring Idaho breweries (the beer) together with cider, wine, and food (the friends) to end the month with a bang! We hope you will join us Saturday April 27th for this exciting new event along with all of your friends. Expect over twenty Idaho breweries along with Idaho wine, cider, plus food from Brown Shuga Soul Food.

The event is free to enter however, if you wish to drink any tasty adult beverages, you will need to buy the event cup and tasting tokens. Pre-sale tasting packages are $25 and include your festival cup plus ten 14 tasting tokens. (It pays to buy early!) Tasting packages at the door will be $30 and include a festival cup plus ten tasting tokens. Additional tokens may be purchased at the event for $2/each. Additional Festival cups also available for $2.

Nampa, ID – March 11, 2019. Mother Earth is pleased to announce an important update to its premium beer program, “4Seasons” and the release of 4Seasons “Spring ‘19”.

Formerly known as “The Four Seasons of Mother Earth”, but recently shortened to simply “4Seasons” as part of a refreshed branding approach, the program is made up of four high-end releases timed to coincide with each equinox or solstice – Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter. Comprised of three unique barrel-aged offerings as well as a Collaboration Beer in the summer, 4Seasons brings excitement and refreshment each time it is released. Formerly distributed in 22oz decorated bottles, 2019 brings 4Seasons into the here-and-now with a new bold, clean design and a switch to 16oz cans.

The updated program kicks off with the distribution of Spring ’19 – a BBA Imperial Stout Brewed with Tart Cherries and Chocolate, beginning this month just in time for the change of seasons, in 16oz cans and on draft in select retailers.

The 4Seasons program is personally managed by Mother Earth Head Brewer, Chris Baker, at their large production brewery located in the city of Nampa, Idaho and then distributed both domestically as well as internationally.

PRESS RELEASE: MOTHER EARTH RE-ENTERS FLORIDA AND HAWAII AS PART OF 2019 EXPANSION

Vista, CA and Nampa, ID – February 27, 2019. Mother Earth is pleased to announce its continued expansion by re-entering two key markets 4,865 miles (as a crow flies) apart, Florida and Hawaii.

Mother Earth will be represented in Southern Florida by Double Eagle Distributing, covering the greater Miami area, and Underground Wine Merchants in Hawaii, with an initial focus on Oahu and Maui.

Distribution of Mother Earth’s year-round beers as well as seasonal and specialty offerings has already begun in cans and draft. Customers may find Mother Earth’s products at select grocery chains and independent liquor stores; as well as restaurants, bars and all establishments carrying fine independent craft offerings.

Beer distributed and sold throughout the aforementioned markets will be brewed at Mother Earth’s original Vista, CA location as well as its large production brewery located in Nampa, Idaho and then delivered cold, fresh and ready to be enjoyed!

Part of the Resinator Series, Kismet IPA is back early this year. Originally scheduled for April release, Hop Diggity blew the doors off and ran out early. So, why delay the inevitable? It must be kismet, as they say.

Our West Coast-style IPA is in your face and
aggressive. Pale in color and loaded with Northern
and Southern Hemisphere hops, Kismet has loads
of tropical fruit, tea leaf, and pine flavors, and it
finishes bone dry with a lingering bitterness.

Fun fact…

When we brewed Por Que No? at Left Coast Brew Co. 🙌 with Agave before it was cool. Fun fact… About 200 lbs of pure Agave syrup was held up at customs at the Mexico/US border for a week because we didn’t declare it correctly. So yeah, that was fun. 😜

#NewYears2019!

While visiting family in Utah this week, we found ourselves asking the obvious question on New Year’s Eve… “So, uhh, where do we get some good beer around here?” We were advised we had to go to the State Liquor Store and it would likely be crowded due to the holiday. We had nooo idea. Roll in and the parking lot is full prior to open. After standing in line in single digit temps, the doors opened and the hordes were released. Talk about a mind trip. Thanks to @epicbrewing for saving our #NewYears2019 ! Happy New Year everyone! Don’t take your booze for granted!
