Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to be a liaison between the production environment and distribution of product. The Forecast Analyst employs strong organizational tactics and project management tools to ensure appropriate inventory levels and provides logistical support to execute outgoing orders. Reporting to the Distribution Operations Manager, this position interfaces with all internal departments.

General Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and maintain technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices as required to meet distributor orders and company sales forecasts · Track brewery production/packaging and integration into sales and delivery forecasts. Maintain and oversee appropriate inventory levels to meet distributor needs. Respond preemptively and dynamically to seasonality, growth patterns, or other information that impacts target inventory levels · Communicate quickly and effectively with sales and logistics staff regarding inventory challenges or issues · Attend weekly production & logistics meetings with sales and production staff. Maintain accurate notes of discussion items and follow up as necessary on actionable items · Work with the Distribution Operations Manager to incorporate upcoming events and strategies into rolling 6-week order forecasts and ensure beer is available as per the forecast · Work with the Distribution Operations Manager to set production deadlines for new/specialty/seasonal releases. · Prepare packing slips. Assist with trouble shooting or any necessary follow up with shipments. · Develop, implement, and maintain tools such as plans, and schedules to meet distributor orders and company sales forecasts · Protect Mother Earth’s value by keeping all financial information confidential · Serve as backup to other functions/tasks within logistics department · Acknowledge and comply with the Mother Earth Employee Handbook · Other administrative and logistical tasks and/or duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Analytics or a related field of study (or equivalent work experience) · 2+ years of professional experience, preferable in consumer goods company · Strong organizational skills · Strong attention to detail and ability to follow exact procedures · Strong analytic and critical thinking skills · Experience and efficiency using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Quickbooks. Smartsheet experience is a plus · Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment · Must possess a “can-do” attitude with the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits:
